AIDA International Freediving Courses
By far, the easiest way to start freediving is to enroll on a course. Learning to snorkel or basic apnea diving is offered by many different organisations, but AIDA is an organisation conceived solely for the development of freediving. AIDA courses cover levels from a complete beginner to very advanced and competitive level freediving. AIDA courses are taught in many languages all over the world and thousands of new divers have found the passion of freediving through us.
On an AIDA course, you will learn what freediving is, how to do it, how to get the most out of your performance and most importantly - how to do it safe.
To enroll on an AIDA course, you must be at least 16 years old and physically fit to freedive, as indicated by the AIDA Medical Medical Statement. For AIDA Freediver and AIDA Instructor Courses, you must also have completed a First Aid course within 2 years of participating.
