How to stay an active AIDA Instructor in 2007?

As everybody knows; to stay an active teacher you’ve got to pay the 50 euro instructor fee at the beginning of each year to AIDA.. Well this year it’s a little bit different.
Because of liability issues and other insurance points we decided to ask for a copy of your personal teaching insurance that each trainer and instructor SHOULD have. This is the same procedure a lot of other (scuba) diving related organizations ask for, and keep in mind that this is not to make it all harder for the instructor/trainer but also to protect themselves and AIDA. If you don’t have an insurance may I recommend an excellent one which also covers freediving instruction (as well as any other form of diving), DAN (Diver Alert Network).

Of course you can also use your own insurance. For 2006 we had an inventory of what is available for us, but now 2007 we really have to tighten things up and have some minimas in the insurance.
